Glen McCracken Gymnasium

2017 saw the start of construction of this gymnasium. After a year of construction the building opened mid 2018.

This building is an achievement for us in terms of lighting design and implantation. The lighting in all of the public areas are controlled by a DALI system that is controlled by a Clipsal CBus system. This consists of a touch screen in the reception office that controls the lighting on the courts, hallways, foyers, seating areas and the external lighting. Lighting in the offices, classrooms, change rooms and toilets are all controlled by motion sensors making the building very energy efficient.

As part of the works prior this buildings construction, we had to move the location of the schools emergency generator plant, relocate underground mains feeding different buildings, and install a new pad mount transformer and main switchboard.
